This week on the Championship Mindset Podcast we speak Olympic Gold Medalist and 2x World Record Holder, Wayde van Niekerk. Originally from South Africa, Wayde is the only person in history to have a sub 10 second 100m, sub 20 second 200m, and sub 44 second 400m. In the 2016 Rio Olympics, Van Neikerk drew lane 8 in the 400m final where he became the first athlete to win the Olympics or World Championship from the outside lane. Starting out in the stagger, Wayde went out fast and ultimately ran the entire 400m race without seeing another competitor. In doing so, he broke Michael Johnsons record that was set in 1999. We hope you enjoy our conversation with Wayde van Niekerk.
